I'm removing 3,000 tiny rhinestones one by one

Today I thrifted a sweatshirt, but I don't want the rhinestones on the back. So I'm heating up six at a time with an iron and then removing them one by one with a tiny eyeglasses screwdriver. Each rhinestone is leaving a tiny glue dot residue, which I have no idea how to remove, if I even can. That is a Future Asia problem.
